At this event, children and their parents join to participate in Spanish-English bilingual storytelling, music and art. Come with your children to listen the book's storytelling in English and Spanish, enjoy traditional songs and make traditional crafts!

SPANISH TIME AT YOUR SCHOOL-LIBRARY-COMMUNITY

In 2008 CLACS started the bilingual program Spanish Time at your School-Library-Community.
The goal of the program is to encourage elementary school students to discover literature, enjoy reading and at the same time learn about Latin American culture. In this project, school teachers and librarians bring the children to the Library for bilingual (Spanish/English) storytelling and music.

If you are interested in hosting a Spanish Time @ your School-Library-Community program, please complete the request form; or contact Alejandra Seufferheld (amsseu@illinois.edu), (217) 244-2790.
